Proudly Building Better at the Jersey Shore
This past year has been a big one for KBR Builders. Not just in the number of projects we’ve taken on, but in how much we’ve grown as a company, as a team, and as part of the community. When we look back, it’s not just about kitchens remodeled or additions built — it’s about the people, the little changes that made a big difference, and the pride we feel in doing things the right way.
The Details That Matter
From waterproofing showers the right way to carefully tucking away utilities in crawl spaces and basements, we’ve been making choices that turn overlooked areas into usable space. Those details might not make headlines, but they’re the difference between a house that just works and a home that truly serves your family. And while remodeling is at the core of what we do, we’re proud to say we also build new custom homes — proving that whether it’s from the ground up or through transformation, we bring the same care to every project.
Communication That Builds Trust
We’ve worked hard to make communication clearer and easier for our clients. Questions don’t linger, updates are consistent, and when something comes up, we’re only ever one phone call away. Something special has happened because of that: clients stop feeling like clients, and start feeling like friends. We don’t just finish projects anymore — we build lasting relationships with the families who trust us with their homes.
Owning the Process
This year we started hauling all of our own debris and garbage, which might not sound glamorous, but it’s changed the way we work. Sites are cleaner, timelines move faster, and homeowners never have to worry about outside logistics slowing things down. It’s a simple shift that’s made a big impact.
From the Marines to the Trades
This year, we added Murphy, whose time in the Marine Corps shaped the discipline, precision, and work ethic he now brings into the trades. Even more recently, we welcomed another veteran — a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps who once served alongside Murphy at Cherry Point, NC. Today, he’s learning the craft of building with us, carrying forward the same values of integrity and commitment that defined his service. Bringing these Marines into the KBR family hasn’t just added skill to our team — it’s strengthened the foundation of who we are.
Expanding What We Can Offer
By becoming a dealer and distributor for cabinets, tile, stone, pavers, windows, and doors, we’ve cut out the middlemen to bring our customers better pricing and more options. Soon, with our mobile showroom, families will be able to see products and samples right at their doorstep. It’s one more way we’re making the remodeling and building process easier and more personal.
Rooted in the Community
This summer, we proudly sponsored the Belmar 5, setting up a big tent, handing out snacks, and cheering on local families. Our team isn’t just present on the job — we’re part of the same neighborhoods we serve. On Saturday mornings you’ll find us running the Belmar and Spring Lake boardwalk with the Locals Run Club, sharing the same spaces and routines as the people we build for. When you see KBR Builders on a truck around town, it’s more than just a company name — it’s your neighbor, your teammate, your fellow runner.
Looking Ahead
Looking back, it’s hard not to feel proud of how far we’ve come. Looking ahead, it’s even harder not to feel excited about what’s next. With every remodel, every new build, and every handshake with a homeowner, we’re proving that when you hire KBR, you’re not just getting a contractor — you’re getting a partner, a neighbor, and a builder who cares.
Here’s to the future. Here’s to building better, together.
